Permanently remove your Spin & Dine account and the data linked to it. Records we must keep are anonymized.

How to Delete Your Account in the App

On iOS

1. Open Spin & Dine on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap the Profile icon to open the Profile sheet.
3. Scroll to Account and tap Delete Account (or Delete Guest Data if you use the app as a guest).
4. Confirm. If you signed in with Apple, you'll be asked to confirm with your Apple ID first; nothing is deleted or revoked until you do. The app then asks Apple to revoke Spin & Dine's Sign in with Apple access and, right after, deletes your account. If the app can't confirm that Apple revoked access, it tells you when deletion finishes. If Apple revokes access but the account deletion then fails, the app tells you; sign in with Apple again and retry.

You can also remove Spin & Dine's Sign in with Apple access yourself at any time: on your iPhone or iPad, open Settings > [your name] > Sign-In & Security > Sign in with Apple, choose Spin & Dine, and stop using Sign in with Apple for it.

After your account is deleted, the iOS app also clears data it stores on your device, such as your spin history, favorites, mode usage, last known location and sign-in details. If it can't remove some of that data, it tells you when deletion finishes. Deleting the Spin & Dine app removes the app's files and settings from your device.

On Android

1. Open Spin & Dine on your Android device.
2. Tap the Profile icon to open the Profile sheet.
3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account (guests see "Delete your guest data").
4. Confirm twice when prompted. If you signed in a while ago, the app asks you to sign in again first; nothing is deleted until you confirm.

After your account is deleted, the Android app also clears data it stores on your device: your favorites, history, cached restaurants, saved and last-used locations, recent searches, filter choices and profile details. App preferences such as theme and sound return to their defaults; notification on/off settings are kept. If the app can't remove some of that data, it tells you when deletion finishes. Clearing the app's storage in Android Settings, or uninstalling the app, removes it.

Guest Users

Guest (not signed in) users have the same option: Delete Guest Data on iOS and Delete Account on Android remove your guest data from our servers and from your device.

If your iOS app doesn't show Delete Guest Data yet, update to the latest version from the App Store. If you can't update, open Profile > Contact Us while still signed in as a guest and ask for deletion; that message includes the guest ID support needs to find your data. Don't tap Create Account first if your Apple ID or email already has a Spin & Dine account, because the app will switch you into that account and support may no longer be able to identify your guest data.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, we immediately and permanently remove the following from our live database:

• Your user profile, including any public profile data and the saved locations you added
• Your saved favorites
• Your spin, winning and restaurant history
• Your filter preferences and filter history
• Your search records and search summary, including the locations stored with them
• Restaurant reviews you wrote
• Your Sign in with Apple link (the iOS app also asks Apple to revoke Spin & Dine's access as part of deletion; see above)
• Support requests that include your account ID, or your verified email address
• Rate limiting records tied to your account
• Your sign-in account itself

On both iOS and Android, the app also clears data it stores on your device and tells you if anything couldn't be removed (see the steps for your platform above).

What We Keep, and for How Long

• Security audit records are anonymized, not deleted: your user ID is replaced with a placeholder, and IP address, device details, location and other identifying fields are redacted, so the remaining record is no longer tied to your account.
• Operational logs and backups: limited operational logs and backups may hold copies of deleted data for a limited period before they are overwritten or expire.
• IP-based rate limiting records aren't linked to your account; they are short-lived and removed by a scheduled cleanup.
• Aggregated, anonymous statistics (for example, how many searches used a cuisine filter in a city) don't identify you and aren't deleted.

Location Data

• What is rounded: when we store a location alongside your account ID with a search (in search records, your search summary and security audit records), it is rounded to 2 decimal places (about 1 km) when it is written. Records written before this rounding was introduced may contain more precise coordinates; they age out under the rules below or are removed when you delete your account.
• What expires: individual search records are deleted once they are 90 days old (a daily cleanup runs, so within about a day after that). Your search summary, which keeps up to 10 rounded areas you search most often, is deleted once you haven't searched for 90 days; while you keep searching, it is kept and updated.
• What is kept until you remove it: saved locations you add yourself (such as home, work, a city or an address) are kept with your profile until you remove them or delete your account. Locations in security audit records are kept until you delete your account.
• When you delete your account: your search records, search summary and saved locations are deleted, and location is redacted from your security audit records.

Can't Access the App?

If you can no longer sign in to the app or cannot access your device, you can request account deletion by email.

Before You Delete

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you have an active SpinDine Pro subscription, please cancel it through the App Store or Google Play before deleting your account to avoid future charges.
