Story

Innovating for global Indecisiveness since 2025.

It was another Friday evening, and Jake was staring at his phone, paralyzed by choice. "Where should we eat?" his friend Sarah asked for the third time. Jake had already opened and closed four different restaurant apps, each overwhelming him with endless reviews, filters, and sponsored recommendations.

"I just want something simple," Jake muttered. "Why does finding a place to eat feel like a research project?"

That's when his developer friend, Anthony, who had been tinkering with AI tools, had an epiphany. "What if choosing where to eat could be fun instead of stressful? Like spinning a wheel of fortune, but for restaurants?"

Anthony spent that weekend building Spin & Dine—a beautifully simple app with just one core feature: a spinning wheel that would randomly select from nearby restaurants. No endless scrolling, no analysis paralysis, just pure serendipity. The wheel would spin with a satisfying animation, building anticipation before landing on tonight's culinary adventure.

The first time they used it, the wheel landed on a tiny Ethiopian restaurant they'd passed a hundred times but never noticed. It became their new favorite spot. SpinDine wasn't just solving the "where to eat" problem—it was turning mundane decisions into moments of discovery, transforming dinner plans from a chore into a game of chance that brought friends together around the simple joy of trying something new…

That story of our founding is at least 10% truth. The other 90% is a mix of boredom, disbelief in the ability of these new LLM tools to actually build something useful, and a genuinely good idea thought of by someone other than me (Anthony), the “developer”, to solve an annoyance he has experienced for years.
